Terms of Use

Aditum is an educational medical simulation platform built for clinical reasoning training and professional development. It is not designed for direct patient diagnosis, treatment, or other real-world clinical use.

By accessing or using Aditum, you agree to these Terms of Use, including the use of submitted content and interaction data to operate and improve the platform and its AI models. If you do not agree, do not use the platform.

Eligibility and account responsibility

You must be legally able to enter into these Terms. You are responsible for your account credentials and for activities that occur under your account.

Educational use only

Aditum outputs are educational simulations. They are not medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment recommendations for real patients. Clinical decisions must rely on licensed professional judgment and applicable standards of care.

Prohibited submissions

The platform is intended for synthetic educational use. You agree not to upload, enter, or submit:

  • Protected health information (PHI)
  • Identifiable real-patient data or medical records
  • Confidential institutional information, trade secrets, or other proprietary information you are not authorized to share
  • Any content you do not want used to operate or improve the service

User content and AI model improvement

You retain whatever ownership rights you have in content you submit to Aditum. By submitting content or using the platform, you grant Aditum a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, process, modify, analyze, and use submitted content and interaction data to operate the platform and to develop, train, fine-tune, evaluate, and improve our AI models and related systems.

You represent that you have the rights needed to submit that content and grant this license. Because submitted content may be used for AI improvement, you should not treat Aditum as a place to store confidential, regulated, or patient-identifiable information.

Analytics and service improvement

We may collect usage, workflow, and performance data, including module activity, timing, completion signals, and interaction events, to measure usage, maintain reliability, improve educational quality, and protect the service.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the platform for real-time clinical care
  • Attempt to disrupt, reverse engineer, abuse, or probe the service
  • Use Aditum in violation of applicable law, policy, or professional duty
  • Submit sensitive data you are not authorized to disclose

Intellectual property and outputs

The platform, including its software, case framework, design, and brand assets, is owned by Aditum or its licensors and protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

Generated outputs may be inaccurate, incomplete, or similar to content generated for other users. Outputs are provided for educational use only and are not guaranteed to be unique.

Service availability and changes

We may update, modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time to maintain quality, safety, security, and platform performance.

Disclaimer and limitation of liability

The platform is provided "as is" and "as available." To the maximum extent permitted by law, Aditum is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from use of the service.

Suspension or termination

We may suspend or terminate access if these Terms are violated, if platform integrity is at risk, or as otherwise required for legal, operational, or security reasons.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use after updates means you accept the revised Terms.
