Aditum is an educational medical simulation platform for clinical reasoning training. A core part of the product is learning from submitted prompts, answers, and interaction data to improve the AI models and systems behind case generation and feedback.

The platform is for synthetic educational use only. Do not submit real patient data, protected health information, or other confidential content that you do not want used to operate or improve the service. We do not sell personal information or use it for targeted advertising.

Scope

This Privacy Policy explains what information Aditum collects, how we use it, when we share it, how long we keep it, and what choices you have when you use the Aditum website and platform.

Information we collect

  • Account and profile information. This may include your name, email address, role or training level, institution, and authentication-related account details.
  • Submitted content. This includes case prompts, answers, notes, bookmarks, free-text inputs, and other content you choose to submit through the platform.
  • Learning and usage data. This includes module activity, timestamps, completion status, interaction events, and other performance or workflow signals created while you use Aditum.
  • Technical and security data. This may include IP address, browser or device information, log data, and abuse-prevention or debugging signals.
  • Support communications. This includes emails, feedback, and support requests you send to us.

  • Create, authenticate, and secure your account
  • Generate cases, feedback, and other educational platform features
  • Develop, train, fine-tune, evaluate, and improve our AI models and related systems
  • Measure product usage, maintain reliability, investigate bugs, and prevent misuse

AI training and model improvement

Aditum uses submitted content and learning interaction data to develop, train, fine-tune, evaluate, and improve the AI models and systems that power case generation, feedback, and educational workflows. This can include prompts, answers, notes, simulation interactions, and related usage signals.

This AI-improvement use is a core purpose of the platform. If you use Aditum, you should assume that content you submit may be used for that purpose. We do not use submitted content for targeted advertising, and we do not sell personal information.

Information you must not submit

  • Protected health information (PHI)
  • Identifiable real-patient data or medical records
  • Confidential institutional data, trade secrets, or proprietary information you do not want used to operate or improve the service
  • Any personal or regulated information you are not authorized to share

Protected health information generally means identifiable health information that relates to a person's health, care, or payment for care. You are responsible for keeping real patient identifiers and other confidential data out of prompts and free-text fields.

How we share information

We do not sell personal information, and we do not share personal information for targeted advertising.

We may disclose information to vendors and service providers that help us host, store, authenticate, secure, analyze, support, or operate the platform. We may also disclose information to professional advisors, in connection with a merger or financing, or when required by law or needed to protect the rights, safety, security, and integrity of Aditum.

Retention and deletion

We retain information for as long as needed to operate, secure, and improve the platform, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our terms.

If you request deletion, we will delete or de-identify stored account-linked information where reasonably possible, subject to legal, security, backup, and operational requirements. We may not be able to remove information that has already been incorporated into trained models, derived model behavior, backups, or aggregated analytics.

Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your choices

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of account information by contacting us. We will process requests in line with applicable law and legitimate operational requirements.

If you do not want submitted content used to improve AI models, do not submit that content through Aditum.
